Mack Jones (born September 20, 1988), better known by his stage name Smacc Turner is an American rapper from Kansas CIty, Missouri.
Jones is the youngest of the 7 children born to his parents and was born and raised primarily in the heart of the Kansas City area, which is considered to be the most violent part of the city. As a toddler he developed a love for hip hop music and was freestyle rapping about his daily activities by the time he turned 6 years old.
During his teenage years, his family moved to both Omaha, Nebraska and San Antonio, Texas only to return to their hometown by the time he turned 15.
In 2006, Jones was arrested one week after his 18th birthday for manslaughter and weapons charges and was sentenced to 15 years in jail. After serving 8 years, he was released on parole, only to be sent back on an alleged parole violation. He was released in early 2016.
Due to the alleged violation in mid 2015, the release of Jones' debut album, Project Housing and Mayonnaise Sandwiches, which was originally due to be released on September 20, 2015, was delayed. After his release, he was immediately back in the studio working harder than ever with a renewed sense of passion for his craft. The album finally hit shelves on March 8, 2016.
His mixtape entitled, Cell Block Yards and All That Shit, is set to be released late June 2016. Subscribe below for updates.
